We take a healthy share of your daily calories, around 20 to 35 percent, and convert it to grams at nine calories per gram, since fat is more energy-dense than protein or carbs.
How to read your result
Within a sensible range, the type of fat matters most. Favour unsaturated sources like nuts, seeds, olive oil and fish, and keep heavily processed and fried fats occasional.
