How it's calculated
You give us your daily calorie target and choose a split. We convert each share into grams, using four calories per gram for protein and carbs, and nine for fat.
How to read your result
Protein is the macro most people fall short on, and the one most worth hitting, since it protects muscle and keeps you full. Carbs and fat are more flexible, so set them to fit your tastes and energy.
Common questions
A balanced split suits most people. Higher protein helps with fat loss and muscle; lower carb suits some, but none is magic. Hit your protein and adjust the rest to taste.
